August has been a month of beautiful collaborations for ROOTED LONDON, and this supper club was no exception.
Hand in hand with The Pressery, East End’s nut mylk goddesses, we hosted a sustainable supper club for Scandinavian fashion brand, Filippa K, to unite the worlds of food and fashion.
It was wonderful to see people from two different worlds come together to celebrate the sustainability of all three brands, over a Rooted style plant-based feast.
We started the evening with a ROOTED yoga practice, focussing on grounding the body and the mind whilst working with the heart chakra to open the soul.
The feast then began with a raw turmeric houmous. Invigorating and wholesome, served with mixed sprouts for a burst of power packed digestible living energy. With a connection to the elements at the heart of our Rooted philosophy, we then moved on to both Cool and Warm dishes for the show stoppers of the supper. Chilled courgette, coconut, and mint soup, and Stuffed Seabass with Salsa Verde were some of the favourites amongst our family of feasters. And of course to end the evening, we served up our all-time fave from the Rooted Nourish range, The Raw Key Lime Pie! Because our souls need as much nourishment as our bodies, if not more.
The girls from The Pressery also shared the philosophy behind their brand and let us in on their latest collaboration with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, a truly inspirational project which is well worth a research. Not to mention their off the hook Almond Drinks!
Warmth and energy were abundant in the air and everyone left feeling nourished from the inside out. Success in our eyes!
